We offer twin-centre trips that combine time at Chalet PT with a stay at 'Les Beaux Terroirs', my other place down south - offering a perfect mix of action and lazing about. Chamonix - great during winter, even better in summer

Chamonix is the home of mountain sports. It's famous for its amazing skiing/boarding during winter. And it's loved for its hiking, climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting, paragliding, hydrospeeding, etc during summer.

Then come south to Les Beaux Terroirs

After a few days hurtling about in the mountains, come down south for some serious R&R. Whether it's lounging by the pool in the sun, visits to Rhone wine producers or barbies on the terrace, it's a great contrast to the action on offer in Chamonix.

If you can take the pace, you can even go kayaking in the nearby Ardeche Gorges - they do an awesome 2-day descent with a night under the stars by the water's edge.

Travel options

Lyon Airport is 2 hrs drive from both Chamonix and St Andre, while it's only 3 hrs 30 mins drive between Chamonix and St Andre. Or you can drive down - Chamonix is about 6 hrs drive from Paris (8-9 hrs from Calais) and St Andre more or less the same.
